As standard, every X2 will come with BMW's iDrive infotainment and navigation system presented on a 6.5in screen (although that can grow to an 8.8in touchscreen if drivers select an upgraded set-up). The system is similar to that in the new 5 Series this year and can be had in conjunction with an optional head-up display, which projects speed and navigation instructions directly into the driver's field of vision.
Our love for the new Honda Accord knows no bounds. We’ve squealed in delight about the transcendent subtlety that comes with the turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four in the high-end models. Whether that’s with a six-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission, the 2.0-liter turbo is a critical element in a wonderful car. The thing is, if history is a guide, the majority of the Accords that Honda sells won’t have that engine.
Power and torque from the Triton V10 were good for 0-60 in 22.4 on the first launch and 19.0 seconds on the second, both measured with the Racelogic timer. Not reassuring but about par for the category. I drove the rig up to about 6,000 feet in the Sierras; then, as the road got narrower and maybe the power got less, I pulled over and enjoyed the view from there.
And returning to the environmental theme, and demonstrating how far we’ve come today, we gave the Cavalier extra "greenie points" for being the only car in that test to have a "switchable microchip that enables it to run on unleaded fuel". Hell’s bells, that cutting-edge gizmo meant that, with the flick of a connector under the bonnet, this microchipped marvel could run on the funny new petrol from the green pumps.
Miller was named assistant treasurer in 1947, assistant controller in 1953 and corporate controller later that year.
To get a real insight into the views of the people who are making the crossover boom happen, we arranged a secret unveil event, inviting a cross-section of Auto Express readers to give us their views on the Arona. The readers were told they were attending an unveil of an all-new SUV, but they weren’t aware which brand of car it was.
Infiniti has teased that a new SUV – most likely the next-generation QX50 – will be revealed ahead of the Los Angeles Motor Show at a set-piece Infiniti event on 28 November.
Of course, one purpose of any small-engined Chevy Camaro has always been to persuade buyers to purchase a more powerful version, and we acknowledge that the V-6 still feels like a sizable step up from the base turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four. While we doubt that Camaro V-6 1LE buyers will ever grow tired of the grip generated by this chassis, whether on a road course or an actual road, we suspect many of them may regret not digging deeper for a V-8.
Those who want their very own theme-park ride can buy the Shelby GT350 for $58,045; that’s about $22,000 more than a regular Mustang GT without options. The track-focused GT350R costs an extra $7500 but adds aggressive aerodynamics, even more aggressive chassis tuning, and lightweight 19-inch carbon-fiber wheels with wider Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 near-race-spec tires. This stripped-down version saves weight by eliminating the back seat, air conditioning, audio system, and other equipment. The seats can be reinstalled by a dealer, and the rest can be optioned back in with the R Electronics package for $3000. While the GT350R is incredible on the racetrack, we’d prefer to drive the GT350 on a regular basis. It has standard equipment such as:

The G3 Pro Colour Restorer uses a professional grade formula to return colour and gloss to dull, faded paintwork. Perfect for removing minor defects including micro-scratches and swirls, light oxidation, holograms and tree sap, it will bring paint back to its original showroom condition. Ideally applied using a slightly damp G3 Pro White Waffle Applicator Pad in a back and forth motion.
