However, ABS isn't an impenetrable safety net. It's not an excuse to drive into hazards more quickly, and doesn't mean you can drive closer to the vehicle in front - yes it does help to reduce braking distances, but you should maintain distance so you don't need to put the ABS to use. Plus, on slippery surfaces, bear in mind that ABS doesn’t work as well – and on sheet ice, nothing will stop you except crashing into the kerbside or another object. Safe speed is the key for winter driving.
Understeer is caused when the front wheels of a car slip on the road surface while the rears still have grip. It usually occurs when you carry too much speed into a corner, and when you go to apply steering lock, the front end of the car doesn't respond and the car wants to continue straight ahead, rather than following the direction of the front wheels around the corner.
The game does a great job of making the player feel claustrophobic, both because of the in-car camera and the narrow trails with sheetmetal-shredding obstacles on each side. Like “Dirt,” you’ll have to get proficient at listening to the navigator call out instructions at speed, but it’s not as hard as you might think. The idea of Turkey's national car has been around for some time -- especially as manufacturing by other car brands soared in Turkey after 2000 -- but the major push was the purchase of Saab 9-3 technology in 2015.
Many of Ford's operating problems were solved by adopting simpler practices, Miller said. Ford, for instance, paid workers in cash -- a cumbersome task -- because Henry Ford had seen workers going into bars to cash paychecks and didn't approve.
Thankfully, the rest of the interior is far more commendable. Soft-touch plastics cover the entirety of the dash and, despite the interior looking a tad bland in its monochrome colour scheme, this being a later top-of-the-range V6 CDX model, there's at least plenty of kit to keep you entertained: air conditioning, heated seats, an electric sunroof and a fancy Blaupunkt CD player.
Four-wheel drive will be offered on some models. While a six-speed manual gearbox will be standard, an automatic option will be available.
