The new generation design language employed on the QX50 means up front a large grille with an oversized badge is flanked by narrow headlights with LED lighting signatures. A muscular looking front bumper with large air intakes appears to sit underneath it.

The engine is not a bad one, but when compared to similar small engines found in both the Fiesta and Ibiza you realise its shortcomings. Both spin up quicker, are peppier and are better balanced. The latter is important because the Micra also suffers from harsh vibrations transmitted through the steering wheel and clutch pedal.
Note that Alexanian said nothing about the 2019 model year. If we were guessing, we’d expect a spring auto-show debut for the hotter, non-Quad Giulia, although the fact that the new engine is already in the Mopar service system might mean that the car could bow earlier. Given the impending arrival of a Giulia coupe, we’d expect the new motor to help the Italian go toe to toe with Audi’s S4 and S5. The same striking approach was also carry through to the interior, with sections of crisp black plastic, swathes of soft-touch materials, and splashes of blue and cream all helping lift the ambiance. Include the standard-fit fully loaded touchscreen infotainment system and the optional, yet clever, Bose stereo system, and the Micra is somewhere you won’t mind spending long periods of time in.
In the cabin we expect the production QX50 to stick close to the finish and technology previewed in the concept, boasting a minimalist dashboard design and digital instrument display.
Essentially a fancy term for leasing, these deals remove much of the hassle that comes with car ownership – although, unlike personal contract purchase deals, they don't give you the option to buy the car outright at the end of the term.
