Cold weather makes it harder for an engine to turn over, but unfortunately, as an EV driver will tell you, cold weather also has a negative impact on the power a battery can deliver. If you haven't changed your car battery recently, then it could be tired, and the cold weather means it might not play ball. Of those, our money is on the Seat Avila, given that it fits in well with the current line-up of Ateca and Arona. Seat was due to make a formal announcement of the name this month, but that has been delayed due to events taking place in Catalonia.
The project is still on track despite the advanced age of the 9-3 and the underlying tech, and the country's five major suppliers and tech giants have just signed on to produce the still-unnamed national car.
